Water level Update As of 10:30 AM on August 20, 2008 it appears that ORO came out very lucky as the storm passed east of ORO. The winds never were very strong and the total rainfall from the storms so far is just a little over 1 and 1/4 inches (According to a neighbors rain gauge). Not hardly even enough to cause a rise in the canals. From the weather reports there is a good chance that more rain will occur this week but in relative small amounts. August 28, 2008-This afternoon board member Ed Bousquin called and said that the level in the canals had raised a total of 11 inches since August 19, 2008. If the water level continues to rise maybe we will have pretty canals' again. Let's just hope that the storms in the Caribbean does not hit the park and raise the level to fast. Pretty good increase in water level for 10 days Before the storm came (August 19, 2008) Today's view (August 29, 2008)
Work is proceeding at the Small Pool and believe it will closed through the week of September 1st. Below is a picture of work in process. From looks of the clouds more rain is coming.
